An Invitation to Marrakech

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to Marrakech for the SIU World Meeting on Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction, set to take place October 13-16, 2010.

Many urologists, whether in their own practice, laboratory or classroom will welcome this update on LUTD and review of pertinent issues. Our Scientific Co-Chairs, Drs. Paul Abrams and Richard Williams have assembled a programme that features the most important current topics and sought-after experts, both local and international. In keeping with the SIU’s commitment to excellence in urological education, the science presented in Marrakech will be evidence-based and distinctly relevant.

The SIU’s choice of location for this year’s meeting is the perfect venue for addressing the many challenges facing urologists in Africa. In light of this, PAUSA will hold a one-day symposium on the first day of the Meeting. We encourage participants from all parts of the world to attend and engage in these issues. Fresh perspectives are essential, and indeed, international discourse and exchange is fundamental to our Society.

As the Local Organizing Committee, we hope that, in addition to intellectual and professional growth, we can also provide you with a relaxing and enjoyable social experience. To this end, we have worked diligently to organize activities that will showcase the best of Marrakech.

Please join us for all social activities: the Opening Ceremonies and Welcome Reception on Wednesday night in the Mansour Eddahbi Palais des Congrès; Thursday night’s activities at beautiful Dar Soukkar; and our final event, the traditional SIU gala banquet, hosted at La Palmeraie (the Palm Grove).

We hope that your schedule will allow you to stay on and benefit from one of the post-Meeting tours, during which you can come to know our friendly people, remarkable history and distinctive geography.
