The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its noble sparkling wine, champagne. Reims is also the ancient city where most of the French kings were crowned.
Our morning orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit of the Gothic cathedral. At the superb Piper-Heidsieck champagne cellars, traditional carriages take us on a magical tour with recorded commentary in 7 languages.
A champagne tasting completes the visit. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy the picturesque landscape of vineyards between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay we visit the prestigious wine cellars of Moët & Chandon and sample their reputed wines.

Day 2: Chenonceau: guided visit to the castle. Cheverny: visit of the castle and farewell lunch at Hôtel Saint-Hubert. Afternoon guided visit of the castle of Chambord.

Mont Saint MichelA rocky island located in the biggest bay in Europe, Mont Saint-Michel Abbey, rightly considered a marvel of the Western World, has been one of Europe’s most famous pilgrimage sites since the Middle Ages.

Drive through the green landscapes of the Normandy region. Stop for brunch at
Le Dauphin à L’Aigle (drinks included). Guided visit to Mont Saint Michel Abbey. Free time to stroll around the village. On the return portion, enjoy a buffet dinner of local specialties at Memorial-Musée de la Paix at Caen.
